don't waste your money

Definitely do not recommend. First, the book is not comprehensive enough. It misses lots of key elements of labor law. Second, it vaguely summarizes court cases while leaving out key holdings or misconstruing the holdings. I really wish that Emanuel would come out with a Labor Law outline; their books tend to be much more comprehensive and explanatory. This book, on the other hand, just states so-called law, sometimes without citing sources and without elaborating enough or explaining decisions or their implications.

This is a good product for a student taking labor law who wants the material laid out in a condensed format. The review questions are good as well and include questions that will help you see the big picture.
